The National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has resolved to embark on a total and indefinite strike.
This decision was taken after the association's national executive council's (NEC) meeting, which lasted from 7pm Sunday night through 3am Monday, September 4, 2017.
The doctors, who some days ago through their association, accepted to discontinue with the strike plan, in this new twist, say they will sustain the strike untill all their demands are met by government.
It would would be recalled that the Academic Union of Universities (ASUU), on their part, have been on strike for over two weeks due to the
government’s failure to honour past agreements with union and other
welfare demands.
We will bring you details on the doctors strike as they unfold....
