Former Aviation Minister and ardent critic of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode, has tweeted that men of the Nigerian Army were on Sunday at the home of leader of the proscribed separatist group, Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Maxi Nnamdi Kanu, packing all his furniture, electronic equipment, carpets, clothes, personal items etc.. And he, Fani-Kayode, is wondering why.
It would be recalled that Maxi Kanu ever since the Operation Python Dance clash with members of IPOB in Abia state in September, which led to the killing of many unarmed civilian youths in the state, nothing has been heard of the whereabouts of the IPOB leader.
Till date, it is hard to say whether Kalu is alive or dead, even as former governor of Abia state, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, recently said he (Nnamdi Kanu) is hiding in London, having escaped from Nigeria through Malaysia.
