Former Chelsea and Manchester United star Ray Wilkins is dead. He died Wednesday, April 4, in a London hospital.
News of his demise has been confirmed by Chelsea.
Wilkins was among the Manchester United squad that won the FA Cup in 1983.
Reigning Premier League champions Chelsea and their rivals Manchester United have been hit with a severe blow following the shocking death of their former star.
Wilkins was last week reported to have been rushed to a London hospital after suffered a cardiac arrest and was later said to have been in an induced coma.
