The Nigerian side have appeared in the finals of the FIFA World Cup on five occasions, the first being in 1994 where they reached the second round.
They will make their sixth appearance at the finals in the 2018 FIFA World Cup taking place in Russia, for which they depart the country, Wednesday, May 30, 2018.
The World Cup Finals is the most widely viewed sporting event in the world, with an estimated 715.1 million people watching the 2006 tournament final.
