Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, was reportedly attacked by those he called ‘misguided Nigerians’ in far-away Madrid, Spain.
The minister said this in his Twitter handle released, on Friday.
In the tweet on his verified Twitter handled, @ChibuikeAmaechi, the minister wrote that “Some minutes ago, I was attacked by a few misguided Nigerians while on national assignment at a climate change event in Madrid, Spain.
“They were quickly repelled by the Spanish police before they could do any harm. I am fine. I was not hurt. Thanks for your support & prayers.”
Recall that the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu was similarly attacked by angry Nigerians in Germany sometime in August this year
