Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage recently explained herself to a follower on social media even when she didn’t have to. The mother of one had taken to her page on Twitter in response to a fan who expressed his undying love for her.
Tiwa noted that she will always love the fan as well. However, another fan on the platform used the opportunity to pass a comment about the singer’s body.
The Twitter user respectfully called Tiwa’s attention to the fact that she is already losing her trim stature and getting fat. Interestingly, and instead of clamping down with a ‘savage’ response, the music star chose to give a brief explanation to the concerned fan.
According to Tiwa, the coronavirus lockdown is responsible for her weight gain. She went on to ask if the individual does not like her new shape.
One fan who reacted to the exchange noted that he likes the singer’s new stature. He said: "I like am die I never thought the most beautiful lady in Nigeria @TiwaSavage could get more gorgeous till you got a little fat on you. I know m way younger but I love you."
Another fan urged the singer not to pay mind to such comments about her body.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously gathered the report of a music journalist identified as Motolani who got singer Tiwa Savage irritated with his article about her Celia album.
The journalist described Tiwa's brand as struggling while accusing her of Mungo Parking. Tiwa, in turn, slammed Motolani, stating that her son bagged more money than his company.
