Nnamdi Kanu’Trial: DSS seals up access roads to the court, others

As the trial of leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu continues in Abuja today, the Department of State ServicesDSS), according to information reaching us, has sealed up everywhere, including the access roads to the court.

There is a tense atmosphere, everywhere, narrates renowned lawyer, Goddy Uwazurike

“We are in court now. Many lawyers were not allowed in on grounds of security. There is a tense atmosphere,” he told Newsmart after gaining access to the court.

He also informed that former governor of Anambra State, Dr Chukwuemeke Ezeife asabout 10:30am, was already inside the court, even as the judge was yet to enter the court.

Also, Otu oka iwu, Abuja, an Igbo lawyers’ association, showed remarkable solidarity as members trooped to the court in large number.

Nnamdi Kanu, however, at the time, was yet to be brought in to the court.
