Below are sweet words and praises wife of Obinna Iyiegbu, aka Obi Cubana, showered on her husband who was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on allegations of money laundering and tax fraud:
“He is STRONG, he is RESILIENT, he is a HARD WORKER, he is a LEADER and he is GREAT... Who God has blessed, no man can curse because he’s gonna turn everything around for your good.”
He has since been released by his interrogators Obi Cubana was released on (Tuesday afternoon) after almost 24 hours and took to his social media handles to express gratitude to those who showed love concern.
Sharing a photo of himself, he wrote:
“Okpataozueora! I love you ALL!!… UNBROKEN
Recall that the Anambra-born club owner picked by the EFCC on Monday, made headlines in July when he hosted an ostentatious burial for his late mother in Oba, Anambra State, in which over 200 cows were reportedly killed.
The lavish display of wealth set tongues wagging with many Nigerians wondering about his source of wealth.
Several celebrities, businesspeople and politicians turned out in large numbers for the funeral.
