Ime Archibong is a VP at Meta, formerly Facebook


Ime Archibong is Head of New Product Experimentation and Vice President, Product Partnerships for Meta, formerly Facebook. 

Born in Kansas to two Nigerian parents, Ime has lived all his life there in the United States.

Prior to joining Facebook (now Meta), Ime was an Advanced Technology Business Development Professional at International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) where he focused on the licensing of the company’s global portfolio of storage research technology. He started his career at IBM as a software engineer in the Systems and Technology Group, before moving to the corporate strategy team, and eventually settling in business development.

Our CEO, @thesubomi first met Ime while attending a conference in Kenya in 2015, where they had an interesting conversation. 

In addition to his career achievements, Ime’s educational background is also exceptional. 

He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Yale University where he also captained the Basketball Team and received the Roosevelt L. Thompson Prize, awarded to a graduate for exemplifying great human warmth, a commitment to fairness, compassion for all people, and the promise of moral leadership. He also holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business where he served as class president.

Currently, Ime is the highest-ranking black person within Meta.
