His death was announced by the National President of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, on Thursday
Sharing a picture of the deceased on his Instagram page, Rollas wrote, ‘Another sad day. RIP Daddy Sam.”
The announcement however, did not reveal the cause and time of his death.
Other Nollywood stars, shortly after the announcement, took to their Instagram pages to mourn the veteran actor.
Actress Destiny Etiko wrote with crying emojis, “Noooo. Daddy Sam.”
