Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is trending and all for a good reason. His image-makers, today, released an information, with photos to back it up, on how the governor gave hope to two out-of-school girls he met on his way to an official duty this morning.
The message is that the Lagos State Governor was heartbroken to see the girls on the road during school hours, with buckets on their heads. He was said to have stopped his convoy, inquired why they were not in school.
They told him their parents couldn't afford tuition fees, according to a post on his chief Press Secretary’s Facebook page. The governor was said to have made it a point of duty to find who their parents were and promised to take over the full responsibility of the girls' upbringing and education.
