Again, APC bashed for stealing photos as Keyamo allegedly uses US music concert photo as crowd at Tinubu’s Sokoto rally

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is again trending for stealing(?) a photo of a totally different event and using same as theirs.

News making the rounds alleges that the photo Keyamo shared as reflection of one of the party’s rallies was indeed from a music festival which took place in 2021 in Chicago. The picture had gone viral at the time for a massive violation of the COVID-19 protocols

Recall that the party had also sometime ago, used the childhood photos of former governor of Cross Rivers state, Donald Duke, for one of it’s event in which it claimed the person in the photo was the party’s presidential flag-bearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The misrepresentation was immediately exposed to be false as Mr. Donald Duke cried foul over the stealing of his identity. And the APC had no choice but to to own up, embarrassingly so.

In the recent incident of yet another ‘fake’ photo, Nigerian labour minister Festus Keyamo was reportedly rebuked on social media, Thursday, after circulating stolen photo from Chicago images to misrepresent the turnout of supporters for Bola Tinubu’s campaign rally in Sokoto on Thursday.

Keyamo, a senior lawyer and spokesman for the ruling All Progressives Congress’ presidential campaign panel, tweeted the pictures on his Twitter account, which he captioned the “mother of all rallies.”

“More pictures from the mother of all rallies in Sokoto! The signs are all there for all to see! But they are playing! Make dem dey play!! In about a fortnight, the jungle will mature!!,” the tweet read.
