Thomas Markle, the father of Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, made an emotional plea to his daughter on American television to mend their relationship.
Meghan's father and siblings, Samantha and Thomas Jr., spoke to Channel 7 News about the Duchess of Sussex's memories, home truths, and secret tapes.
Meghan would still be a waitress without their father, Samantha said.
However, Thomas, who is still recovering from a stroke, spoke differently from his children and made a ‘deathbed plea’ to the daughter he had lost.
He said, "How can I fix this? I am lucky to be alive."
According to The Mirror on Friday, despite being estranged from her family, Meghan was concerned about her father.
The source said, "Despite their estrangement, Meghan is concerned. She wants to know if there is any way to contact her father privately, without other family knowing about it or having to get involved."
