Veteran Nollywood actor, Prince Ademola Adeyemo is dead.
The actor who features in Yoruba movies passed on Monday, May 22, after a brief illness.
His colleague, Kunle Afod, announced the sad news moments ago on his social media handle while praying for his family and colleagues
Sharing a photo of the deceased, Afod wrote: ”Hmmmm. God you know best. RIP Prince Ademola Adeyemo.
“He passed on in the early hours of today after a brief illness.. God will comfort all his family, friends and colleagues.”
Another thespian, Ronke Oshodi also shared a photo of her late colleague, while mourning him.
She wrote: “Hummmm oga bayi òòò We love you but God loves you more. Rest in peace PRICE ADEWALE ADEYEMO.”
Other prominent actors such as Yinka Quadri, Kemi Korede and Itele have also taken to social media to mourn the veteran.
In 2021, the late Adeyemo was diagnosed with an ailment which led him to solicit for funds. He was eventually able to raise the money to undergo a successful surgery.
