Uriel Oputa, the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) All-Stars housemate, has been sent out of the reality TV show.
She was asked to leave the house during the live eviction show on Sunday, August 13, 2023.
Seyi and Uriel were the housemates with the lowest votes (Seyi actually having the lowest votes)— thus placing either of them at risk of eviction, with introduction of a jury in the show.
The final eviction verdict would be by a jury made up of former housemates, according to earlier announcement by organizers at the beginning of this season’s show.
For this Sunday night eviction show, the jury included Laycon, the ‘Lockdown’ season winner; Teddy A, 2018 edition participant; and ‘Level Up’ housemate Diana.
Ike, who won the head of house (HoH) for the third week, automatically gained immunity from eviction for the week Last. So also was Frodd, who won the ‘Pardon Me’ challenge after gaining the highest number from the list of nominees.
By implication, Frodd joined Ike for the eviction immunity, leaving the other 17 housemates up for nomination.
Uriel is the second housemate to be evicted after Princess Onyejekwe.
The BBNaija All-Stars reality TV show began on July 23 with 20 former housemates.
The show is expected to end on October 1.
The winner of this season will take home a cash prize of N120 million, the highest ever since the inception of Big Brother Naija.
