Newly appointed NAHCON chairman pays thank you visit to Gombe State governor

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's newly appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Alhaji Jalal Ahmed Arabi, has paid a thank you visit to the Gombe State Governor, Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya.

He told Governor Inuwa at the Governor's Lodge in Abuja that the visit was to register his appreciation to the Governor over his support and encouragement towards his appointment as NAHCON's new Chairman and Chief Executive.

Alhaji Jalal Arabi was accompanied on the visit by the Presidential Adviser and former FCT Minister, Dr. Aliyu Modibbo Umar, as well as the former NAHCON Chairman, Barr. Abdullahi Mukhtar.

Governor Inuwa Yahaya had shortly after Ahmed Arabi's appointment on Tuesday, expressed delight at the appointment of the new NAHCON boss in a press statement.

Governor Inuwa applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing the Gombe son to head NAHCON, describing Alhaji Ahmed Arabi as a highly experienced technocrat and a seasoned administrator of impeccable repute.

In the statement, the Governor noted Arabi's distinguished career as a retired Federal Permanent Secretary, emphasizing the new Chairman's ability to excel in this new role.

He encouraged Alhaji Jalal Arabi to leverage his wealth of experience and knowledge to revitalize the National Hajj Commission and elevate it to new heights of excellence and effective service delivery.
