The Executive Vice Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Dr. Aminu Maida, recently met with a team from Meta, formerly the Facebook company, at the commission's headquarters to discuss increased investments in internet connectivity in Nigeria.
Dr. Maida was accompanied to the meeting by senior members of his management staff, while the Meta team was led by Mr. Kojo Boakye, Vice President for Africa, Middle East, and Turkey.
The meeting was mutually beneficial, considering that Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
