Oshoala, a six-time African Female Footballer of the Year, was announced as the best female player in Africa at the CAF event
The First Lady shared photos of the visit on her X page, with the caption, "It was a pleasure for Mr President and I to receive six-time African Female Footballer of the Year, Asisat Oshoala at our Lagos residence"
The First Lady write further: "I am proud of your achievements and I look forward to greater ones. Keep making Nigeria proud!"
Oshoala won the Confederation of African Football Women's Player Of The Year Award in 2023, clinching the award for the sixth time.
