Nollywood actress Victoria Inyama has spoken out about the abusive behavior and infidelity of her ex-husband. In an interview, Inyama revealed that her ex-husband would often come home with his girlfriend while they were still married, among other abusive behaviors.
Inyama's revelations shed light on the issue of domestic violence and infidelity in marriages. It is important for individuals to recognize the signs of abuse and seek help when necessary.
Speaking in a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, Inyama recounted instances when her ex-husband allegedly brought another woman into their home.
Chude asked, “So your husband was bringing his girlfriends home?”
In response, she said, “Oh wow, yes. There was even one instance where the girl was telling me what to cook.
“I should not be cooking meat; I should be cooking fish. Fish is healthier. I was just looking at this girl, and they were ‘working together.”
Victoria also said she was subjected to physical, psychological, and mental abuse by her ex-husband.
She claimed that the first time her husband hit her, she was in a state of shock because she couldn’t believe it.
Victoria Inyama said she doesn’t regret giving up her acting career for her marriage because of their three children, despite everything she had to go through.
“I don’t regret abandoning my career for my marriage because I have three beautiful children
“My ex-husband was physically, mentally, and psychologically abusing me. When my husband hit me for the first time, I didn’t believe it, I was in shock.
“He still threatens to kill me or put me in prison to date.
“I always tell myself where did I go wrong? What did I do? But then, they can bring the right package to the wrong address and there is nothing you can do about it”.
