Ivy Ifeoma, the girlfriend of the well-known singer Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, has spoken out about the hurtful comments she has faced due to her relationship with the singer.
Rudeboy, 41, introduced Ifeoma, who was 22 at the time, as his new girlfriend in December 2022, following his divorce from his ex-wife Anita Okoye.
The couple's relationship triggered a wave of criticism on social media, with many users condemning Rudeboy for ending his 8-year marriage to Anita.
Ifeoma has now shared some of the unkind remarks she has endured since the beginning of her relationship with the singer.
Speaking in a recent interview with Cool FM Nigeria, Lagos, Ivy said she has received a lot of harsh comments on social media which she usually overlooks.
The 23-year-old, however, noted that the one that hurt her most was being called a ‘home wrecker’.
Ivy said, “I have seen a lot. My eyes have seen a lot. Well, I do not really want to say a thing, but you know, especially when it was in the heat of the moment for me. I was getting a lot of bad DMs,” she said.
“People were just like randomly saying things about me. Not graphical images. People were just typing rubbish. I overlook them most time.
“People saying I’m a home wrecker is quite painful. It’s most painful because where did you get your facts from?”
