Nigeria defeats Angola 1-0 to secure spot in Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals

Nigeria defeated Angola 1-0 in the quarter-finals of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, securing their spot in the semi-finals. 

The game was played at the Felix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. 

Nigeria dominated the game, but Angola pushed for a late equalizer but no luck. 

Onyeka was replaced by Aribo, and Osimhen was replaced by Onuacho while Lookman was replaced by Omeruo. 

Nigeria has won the Africa Cup of Nations three times, while Angola has participated in the competition three times. 

Nigeria is set to face the winner of the South Africa vs. Cape Verde quarter-final match in the semi-finals.
