Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has sparked controversy by advising women not to leave their unfaithful partners, but to respond to infidelity by cheating as well.

In a series of recent interviews and social media posts, Bakare emphasized her belief that "all men cheat" and suggested that rather than leaving a cheating partner, women should "cheat back" as a form of retaliation.

Her unorthodox advice has elicited mixed reactions from the public, with some criticizing it as "bad advice" and others expressing support for her perspective. This unconventional stance on handling infidelity has generated significant attention and debate across various media platforms.

In a recent interview with Oyinmomo TV Bakare said “all men cheat,” and emphasised that leaving a cheating man is not a wise move.

Bakare said: “All men cheat. I am 100 per cent sure. Is there a man who doesn’t cheat?

“I will say women shouldn’t leave their partners for cheating, but they can cheat too. You don’t have to pack out but you can also cheat. But you have to do it with all level of maturity.

“If my man cheats on me, I will cheat on him too.”
