The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has refuted speculations circulating on social media regarding a purported adjustment in the pump prices of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and Automotive Gas Oil (Diesel).
In a statement signed by the NNPCL spokesman, Olufemi Soneye, the company clarified that reports of price adjustments are unfounded and urged Nigerians to dismiss them entirely.
The statement emphasizes that NNPCL is dedication to maintaining the current sufficiency in petroleum products across all its retail stations nationwide.
The company's stance aims to reassure the public of the stability and reliability of fuel supply at its retail outlets, dispelling any misinformation regarding price adjustments. This clarification comes amidst rumors suggesting a decrease in petrol prices and an increase in diesel prices, which the NNPC has firmly denied.
