The funeral service for the beloved Nollywood actor, John Odonwodo, known as Junior Pope, commenced, Friday, May 17, 2024, at St. Peter's Catholic Parish in Ukehe, Enugu State.
The 43-year-old actor tragically lost his life, along with four others, on April 10 in a boating accident on the Anam River while returning from a film shoot.
Junior Pope's family had previously announced that his final resting place would be in his hometown of Uwala Abaka, Ukehe, in Nsukka, Igboetiti Local Government Area of Enugu State.
The community therefore gathered to pay their respects and honor the memory of this talented actor who left a lasting impact on the Nigerian entertainment industry.
