Tobi Amusan, the reigning World 100m hurdles champion, is set to take on Kendra Harrison at the 2024 Adidas Atlanta City Games, just days after clocking an impressive 12.40 seconds at the Jamaican Athletics Invitational in Kingston.
The 27-year-old Nigerian star, who holds the current world record of 12.12 seconds, will face off against Harrison, a former world record-holder and the second fastest 100m hurdler ever recorded at 12.20 seconds.
Despite Harrison's overall lead in their head-to-head record, with a 17-7 advantage, Amusan has emerged victorious in seven out of the last ten encounters between the two.
The highly anticipated race in Atlanta will showcase the two fastest women in the event's history, as they continue their pursuit of Olympic glory.
Amusan, who won the World title in Oregon, USA, two years ago, is determined to add an Olympic gold medal to her impressive collection.
