Workers’ Day: Arase stands in solidarity with PSC workers, vows to enhance working conditions

On the occasion of International Workers’ Day, Dr. Solomon Arase, chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC) and a retired Inspector General of Police, has expressed his unwavering support for the Commission's staff and the officers of the Nigeria Police Force. 

He has pledged to work towards improving their working conditions to enhance service delivery. 

In a press release dated Wednesday, May 1, 2024, and issued by Ikechukwu Ani, the Head of the Press and Public Relations unit of the PSC, Dr. Arase affirmed his commitment to standing up for the dignity and rights of the workers. He emphasized the importance of fostering a culture where every worker is respected and motivated.

Dr. Arase reiterated his dedication to creating a conducive work environment within the Commission, aligning with this year's theme of promoting safety and health at work amidst a changing climate. 

He concluded his message by extending warm wishes to the staff of the Commission, referring to them as "beloved partners in progress" on this special day dedicated to workers.
