Davido surprises Chioma with lavish bridal shower ahead of their wedding

Chioma Rowland, the soon-to-be wife of Nigerian music superstar Davido, was treated to a lavish bridal shower party organized by her fiancé and close friends. 

The surprise event took place on Sunday night, June 23, 2024, at a waterside venue in Lekki, Lagos, just days before the couple's highly anticipated wedding on June 25th.

In a heartwarming video, Chioma was seen dancing and enjoying herself as she was serenaded by singer Iyanya. Dressed in a crown and a sash that read "Bride-to-be," Chioma was surrounded by her loved ones who cheered her on.

Davido, who had earlier shared stunning pre-wedding photos with Chioma on social media, has been building up excitement for their big day using the hashtag #CHIVIDO2024. In an interview, Chioma revealed that Davido had tricked her into attending the surprise party by telling her they were going out for a dinner date. 

However, when they arrived at the venue and she saw the balloons, she realized it was a bridal shower and couldn't contain her excitement.

The lavish bridal shower is the latest in a series of events leading up to the highly anticipated wedding of Davido and Chioma, which is set to be one of the biggest celebrity events of the year.
