Falz, the popular Nigerian rapper and singer, has revealed that he has not been in a romantic relationship since 2008, when he was just 18 years old.
In a recent interview on the Morning Rush show, Falz explained that he feels he is "not ready" for a relationship. The 33-year-old artist noted that his reasons for remaining single have changed over the years, and he has not felt prepared to commit to a relationship.
Falz emphasized that it is not because he is "running away" from relationships. When asked about what qualities attract him to a woman, Falz mentioned the importance of "aura, energy, and swag".
He clarified that he no longer focuses on superficial attributes like skin tone or physical features.In 2022, Falz also admitted that he had never been in love and had never said "I love you" to a woman.
Falz noted that he has not been in any romantic relationship with anyone because he feels he is “not ready”.
Hear him: “Let us not get into this, it is going to be a dangerous answer. My last relationship was in 2008,” he said.
“I was 18 years old precisely. It is not like I am running away.
“It is just been like a rollercoaster, a couple of different things for a couple of different reasons.
“It keeps changing, and I just have not felt ready.”
Falz, now aged 33, said the “aura, energy, and swag” are qualities that attract him to a woman.
“When I say the aura, I don’t mean that loosely,” he added.
“I am coming from a realm where I thought I liked light-skin babes or babes with big breasts and other fickle things.
“I am in a realm where it is not about that. Now, it is about the kind of energy you ooze.”
