Nigeria thrash New Zealand 4-1 in U17 Women's World Cup opener

Nigeria's U17 women's team, the Flamingos, yesterday, kicked off their FIFA U17 Women's World Cup campaign with a stunning 4-1 victory over New Zealand in Santiago.

The match began dramatically, with Shakirat Moshood scoring just two minutes in, followed by goals from Khadijat Adegoke and Faridat Abdulwahab, giving Nigeria a commanding 3-0 lead at halftime.
