President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has enacted a strategic leadership reshuffle at two federal universities.
Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, SAN, currently the Pro-Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja, will transition to the same role at Federal University Oye-Ekiti.
Meanwhile, Engineer Kayode Ojo will move from his position at Oye-Ekiti to take over as Pro-Chancellor at Lokoja.
This initiative, it would seem, aims to enhance diversity and national cohesion in the administration of Nigeria’s educational institutions.
A press release signed Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, on November 2024, disclosed that “this strategic change was part of President Tinubu’s initiative to foster diversity and national cohesion in the management of the country’s universities.”
