Mrs. Elizabeth Bidei, the Commissioner for Women Affairs in Bayelsa State, has died.
The state government announced her death on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, through a statement by Ebiuwou Koku-Obiyai, the commissioner for information.
While the exact cause and precise time of her death were not disclosed in the official announcement, her passing has been mourned by the Bayelsa state government.
Bidei was a member of the Bayelsa State Executive Council and had been serving as the Commissioner of Women Affairs and Social Development.
