Gospel sensation Moses Bliss and wife Marie welcome ‘miracle’ baby boy


Nigerian gospel artist Moses Bliss and his wife Marie Wiseborn have joyfully welcomed their first child, a baby boy, marking a beautiful start to 2025. 

The couple shared their miraculous news on Instagram, January 10, 2025, revealing heartwarming baby bump photos that captured their excitement and gratitude.

“This is the doing of the Lord,” they wrote. “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think,… unto him be glory. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21 KJV.”


The couple, who got married in February 2024 with ceremonies in Nigeria and Ghana, described their newborn as “the doing of the Lord”. 

Moses Bliss expressed deep thankfulness, writing, “We are in awe of His mercy. Join us in thanking God for blessing our family with a baby boy”.

Bliss also shared a snippet from a song titled ‘Doing of the Lord’ featuring Nathaniel Bassey while appreciating God for the testimony.


“This is the doing of the Lord. We are in awe of His mercy. Join us to thank God for blessing our family with a baby boy. This song is our testimony. The official video is now out on my YouTube channel,” he wrote.

The announcement has sparked an outpouring of congratulatory messages from fans and industry colleagues, celebrating this special moment in the gospel singer’s life

Their love story, which began when Marie posted a dance video to one of Moses’ songs, has now blossomed into a beautiful family. 


Bliss announced his engagement in January 2024 and started the wedding process in February.

The couple held their court, traditional, and church weddings, including a praise concert, in Accra, Ghana’s capital city.

Bliss had disclosed that he met his wife via social media.


He said she posted a video of herself dancing to ‘Miracle No Dey Tire Jesus’, one of his hit songs.

He also shared the supposed dance video, adding that she tagged him in the post on Instagram.
