Innocent “2Baba” Idibia, the Nigerian music icon, has confirmed his romantic involvement with Natasha Osawaru, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly.
This revelation follows his recent divorce from his wife, Annie Idibia.
2Baba addressed the rumors via an Instagram video, where he defended Osawaru against allegations of being a “home breaker,” stating that she had no involvement in his separation from Annie.
He declared his love for her, saying, “Yes I love her, she is amazing, she is cool, I want to marry her.”
Speculation about their relationship intensified after 2Baba was seen at the Edo State Assembly and a video of them at a Lagos club surfaced. His surprise appearance at the Edo State House of Assembly during a plenary session further fueled the rumors.

Further defending Natasha, the ‘African Queen’ hitmaker called her a “young, brilliant, and amazing woman” who has been unfairly labeled as a “home breaker”.
“I said what I said. All of us will be alright… Honourable Natasha, I see she has been dragged, she has been called all sorts of names. She has been labelled as a home breaker. She is a young, brilliant and amazing woman,” he said.
“She has nothing to do with what’s happening between me and Annie. But I see everybody trying to allegedly want to rope her into everything. Yes, I love her. She is amazing, she is cool, I want to marry her.”
In January 2025, Innocent ‘2Baba’ Idibia, a famous Nigerian singer, announced his separation from Annie Macaulay-Idibia, his wife since 2012.
The couple has two daughters. 2Baba revealed on Instagram that they had been separated for a while and were in the process of divorcing.
