In a shocking turn of events, David Parradang, a former Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Immigration Service, was tragically killed by gunmen in Abuja on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
According to reports, Parradang was abducted in the Area 1 axis of Abuja after withdrawing money from a bank. The assailants took the cash and eventually killed him.
A source from the Immigration Service confirmed the death, stating plans to visit his family for condolences.
However, official statements from the police and Immigration Service spokespersons were pending at the time of reporting.
Parradang’s death has heightened concerns about security in Abuja, particularly regarding kidnappings and targeted attacks.
