In a momentous celebration spotlighting female leadership, Mrs. Zubaida Umar, Director General of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), was presented with the distinguished Most Outstanding Woman in Public Service Award.

The ceremony, orchestrated by the Face of Democracy Nigeria (FDN) Projects, the driving force behind the African Iconic Women Recognition Awards, brought together leaders and influencers to celebrate women shaping the nation.

The high-profile event, according to a press release signed by Manzo Ezekiel, Head, NEMA’s press unit, drew an array of distinguished personalities, including honourable ministers, members of the National Assembly, heads of federal agencies, wives of State governors and prominent business leaders.

The Honourable Minister of Women Affairs, Mrs. Iman Suleiman-Ibrahim, presented the award to Mrs. Zubaida Umar on behalf of the organizers, commending her exemplary leadership and dedication to public service.
