In a jaw-dropping twist during Big Brother Naija Season 10’s Week Five, Rooboy has kicked Jason Jae off the Head of House throne after a thrilling and downright quirky showdown on Monday, August 25, 2025.
Jason Jae, who had been crowned HOH just a day earlier on Sunday, found himself defending his title in a peculiar challenge that left everyone gasping.
The competitors - Jason Jae, Rooboy, and Kuture - were blindfolded and plunged their hands into a box filled with live rabbits and birds in a nerve-wracking scramble to grab the coveted HOH tag. The sight (and feel!) of the furry and feathery critters sent chills down their spines. For instance, Kuture nearly gave up, and Jason Jae wasn’t far behind, visibly shaken and desperate to quit.
But it was Rooboy’s bravery (or maybe luck) that earned him the crown this time around, leaving housemates and fans buzzing with excitement about what his reign will bring, especially considering his growing tensions with fellow housemate Imisi.
Sticking to tradition, Rooboy named Zita as his house guest, a warm nod to the week prior when Zita had chosen him while holding the HOH title herself.
Meanwhile, Jason Jae, who had earlier selected Koyin as his house guest, still remains a formidable player alongside strong contenders like Doris.
This intense HOH battle came hot on the heels of a sack race-themed challenge designed to test the housemates’ agility and coordination, right after Victory and Gigi Jasmine were evicted in a dramatic live show on Sunday night
