In a recent press statement dated September 25, 2025, Air Peace has firmly dismissed circulating reports claiming that the British authorities prevented the airline from operating flights into London for seven years.
The Chairman and CEO, Allen Onyema, is said to have never made such a statement.
Contrary to the false narrative spreading in the some circles, Onyema instead, expressed his appreciation for the cooperation extended by British officials, which has facilitated smooth and seamless operations for Air Peace in the UK.
The airline accused the misinformation of being a deliberate attempt to strain relations between Air Peace and the British community.
Air Peace highlighted that preparations are currently in full swing for the launch of its inaugural Abuja to London service scheduled for October 26, 2025. The airline reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing Nigeria’s footprint in global aviation by continuing to provide safe, affordable, and top-tier air travel for passengers.
Management, therefore, urges the public and media to disregard the false claims and appreciates the ongoing support from British authorities as Air Peace expands its international reach.
