L-r: Ivatar, Doris and Big Soso |
Big Brother Naija Season 10 witnessed a dramatic Sunday eviction as three housemates - Big Soso, Ivatar, and Doris - were sent packing, trimming the house from 29 to 19 contestants.
Hosted live by Ebuka in Lagos, the eviction night also highlighted Kaybobo’s rise as Biggie declared him the most influential housemate of Week 6, following votes cast by fellow contestants.
Big Soso was the first to exit the stage, lightening the mood with a joke about packing on weight, thanks to the house food, claiming her clothes no longer fit.
She reflected on her self-assigned “motherly” role in the house, explaining that growing up with six brothers shaped her nurturing side. Noticing many male housemates lacked sisters or mothers nearby, she embraced that role naturally, and, she said, they gravitated toward her without any pressure.
Doris expressed surprise at her eviction, pointing out that some less talented or less entertaining contestants were still in the house. When pressed to name them, she tactfully declined.
On affection, Doris revealed her preference for dark-skinned men, describing Denari with fondness, and admitted she generally favors darker complexions over lighter ones.
Ivatar, unfortunately, finished at the bottom of the viewer votes and was the last to leave in that eviction round.
Back inside the house and in a tense moment, Imisi declined to comment on Joanna, saying she was too stressed to talk about her.
Before closing, Ebuka warned the housemates against treating the show like a staged performance. He urged them to be genuine, to address issues promptly during the week instead of saving all confrontations for Sunday’s live eviction nights, a trend he clearly disapproved of.
