Air Peace, the largest airline in West and Central Africa, will inaugurate monthly commercial flights connecting Lagos and Accra to Antigua and Barbados starting December 21, 2025.
This milestone positions Air Peace as the first African carrier to provide direct air service between these African regions and the Caribbean, unlocking fresh opportunities for tourism, trade, and cultural ties.
The airline highlights this historic route as a gateway to strengthen economic and social links across these vibrant continents.
Building on previous successful Caribbean operations, including the Lagos–Montego Bay (Jamaica) charter in 2020, and the Abuja–St. Kitts & Nevis service in 2025, this new service underscores Air Peace’s mission to bridge continents and bring Africa closer to the world, the airline further explains.
According to the report, the new route will connect Lagos and Accra to Antigua and Barbados, thereby offering seamless connectivity for travellers seeking adventure, leisure, or business opportunities.
Information gathered from the airlines website discloses: “For tour packages, Air Peace has partnered with Tour Brokers International (Nigeria), Sun Seekers Tours (Ghana), and Adansi Travels (Ghana) to offer exclusive tour packages.”
It also went on to confirm that monthly scheduled flights are now live, and customers can book directly via Air Peace website or any of the airline’s accredited Travel Agents.
