Finance Minister and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, was recently seen at the O’DA Art Gallery booth at the 1-54 London Art Fair.
The sighting comes after reports of Edun falling ill and receiving initial treatment in Nigeria.
A brief video posted on X on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, captured the minister accompanied by two individuals as he attended the prestigious art event.
Earlier, the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, confirmed Edun’s health challenges.
Further reports by THE PUNCH, citing Western Post sources, disclosed that Edun had traveled to the United Kingdom to access advanced medical care.
It was also reported that Edun would not be attending this year’s World Bank and International Monetary Fund Annual Meetings in Washington, D.C.
The Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Olayemi Cardoso, is instead leading Nigeria’s delegation to the global finance meetings, which commenced on Tuesday, October 14.
