The company activated its emergency response immediately after the incident, deploying multidisciplinary teams for containment, repairs, pressure testing, and safe recommissioning. By Monday, December 29, 2025, the pipeline returned to full functionality, ensuring uninterrupted energy supply across key regions.
NNPC Chief Corporate Communications Officer Andy Odeh in a press statement, highlighted the collaborative effort behind the rapid recovery.
“This achievement was made possible through the unwavering support of our host communities, the guidance of regulators, the vigilance of security agencies, and the dedication of our partners and staff,” Odeh stated in an official announcement from Abuja.
