In the high-stakes drama of an Africa Cup of Nations penalty shootout, Nigerian star Alex Iwobi faced off against Egypt’s confident goalkeeper. As the tension mounted, the Egyptian shot-stopper pulled close to Iwobi for a bold pre-kick wager that had everyone wondering.
Speaking later to teammate, Ademola Lookman, who was dying to know the inside scoop, in a trending video, Iwobi spilled the beans, saying, “He said to me, ‘Iwobi, I know where you are going to go and if I save your penalty, you are going to give me your shirt’, and I said no problem.”
