Nigerian football sensation Samuel Chukwueze is mourning the sudden loss of his beloved mother, who passed away following a brief illness.
The news was announced by David Chukwueze, brother to the AC Milan winger, who is now on loan to Fulham FC and a key player for the Super Eagles.
David Chukwueze shared the devastating news on social media, leaving fans and teammates of his brother also heartbroken.
David on his Instagram story, wrote: ‘Can’t even post your picture to say RIP Mum’, ‘My forever love just left me without saying goodbye’ and ‘You didn’t even carry your grandchild’
Chukwueze who was part of the Super Eagles team that finished third at the just concluded Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco is yet to react.
Chukwueze, known for his dazzling dribbles and pace on the wing, has been a vital asset for both club and country and our thoughts are with Samuel, his family, and friends as they navigate this profound loss.
Earlier this week, another Super Eagles player and captain of the team, Wilfred Ndidi lost his father in a car accident.
