Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman has shared photos of himself with Victor Osimhen and Bruno Onyemaechi on the pitch after Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations round of 16 win over Mozambique, played on Monday, January 5, 2026.
The Atalanta star posted the pictures on his official Instagram account on Tuesday with the caption, “TOGETHER ALWAYS”.
The post comes in the wake of online criticism aimed at Osimhen, following his angry reaction towards Lookman during the game, which sparked speculation of a rift between the pair.
Lookman has, however, dismissed any talk of bad blood, stressing that there is no issue between him and Osimhen.
“It’s just football. It’s always football. He is my brother,” Lookman said in a post-match interview on Monday.
The Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi in another video, also played down the incident, insisting it was simply a product of the players’ shared competitive spirit and desire to win.
