In a show of unity driving Nigeria’s digital ambitions, top executives from the Association of Telecom Companies of Nigeria (ATCON) paid a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) headquarters today, February 17, 2026, signaling stronger public-private partnerships amid rapid sector growth.
The high-level meeting featured prominent figures including Dr. Aminu Maida, NCC’s Executive Vice-Chairman/CEO, who welcomed ATCON President Tony Emoekpere; Muhammed Rudman, ATCON Vice President and CEO of the Internet Exchange Point of Nigeria (IXPN); and other key stakeholders.
Flanking Maida were Abraham Oshadami, NCC Executive Commissioner for Technical Services, and Rimini Makama, Executive Commissioner for Stakeholder Management.
