Dangote Petroleum Refinery has jacked up the gantry price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to ₦1,175 per litre – the third petrol price surge in just seven days.
Marketers and depot operators received the update on Monday, March 9, 2026. This lifts the ex-depot price from Friday’s ₦995 per litre by ₦180, a steep 18.1% jump in three days.
The refinery also bumped Automotive Gas Oil (diesel) to ₦1,620 per litre.
This follows last week’s climb from ₦774 to ₦995 per litre.
