The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Nigerian Muslims for successfully completing the Ramadan fast and celebrating Eid-el-Fitr.
In a warm message, Prof. Yilwatda sends his best wishes to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR); Vice President Kashim Shettima (GCON); members of the Federal Executive Council; the National Assembly; the National Working Committee of the APC; and all Muslim faithful across Nigeria.
Issued via a press release signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Communications Strategy, Abimbola Tooki, the statement emphasizes that Ramadan transcends mere fasting. It is a profound spiritual journey marked by reflection, sacrifice, discipline, compassion, and deeper devotion to Almighty Allah.
For over a month, millions of faithful Nigerians exemplified faith, patience, and selflessness - virtues vital not just for personal growth, but for building a united and prosperous nation.
Professor Yilwatda urged Nigerians to carry forward the lessons of Ramadan into their daily lives by embracing unity, extending kindness to one another, and upholding justice and fairness in all dealings.
He emphasized that at a time when the nation continues to navigate complex challenges, the spirit of sacrifice and collective responsibility imbibed during Ramadan remains more relevant than ever.
The APC National Chairman particularly commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his steadfast leadership and resilience in steering the affairs of the nation, noting that the administration continues to take bold and necessary steps aimed at repositioning Nigeria for sustainable growth, economic stability, and national cohesion.
He called on all Nigerians to continue to support the President in his quest to build a stronger and more prosperous country.
He further called on Nigerians to use the auspicious occasion of Eid-el-Fitr to offer sincere prayers for the nation, praying that Almighty Allah grants President Bola Ahmed Tinubu divine wisdom, strength, and good health; guides the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, and all members of the Federal Executive Council; and blesses the nation’s armed forces and security agencies with courage and success in safeguarding the country.
He also prayed for unity, peace, and renewed hope across the land.
