Prominent Nigerian politicians, including former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, ex-Transportation Minister Rotimi Amaechi, and APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda, visited former Kaduna Governor Nasir el-Rufai at his Kaduna residence on Saturday, March 28, 2026, to offer condolences over the death of his mother, Hajiya Umma.
Hajiya Umma passed away in Egypt on Friday. El-Rufai, who was in custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) at the time, received compassionate release to attend her burial rites.
