President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended heartfelt Eid-el-Fitr greetings to Muslims across Nigeria and worldwide, as they joyfully mark the end of Ramadan.

In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President urged the Muslim faithful to embrace the holy month’s timeless lessons - piety, empathy, and unity - and channel them into fresh dedication to Nigeria and humanity.

“Rededicate yourselves to these noble values,” he said, calling for patriotism that strengthens the nation’s bonds.

"We have a lot to draw from the noble lessons of Ramadan, especially at a time like this. We must continue to abide by the virtues of piety, selflessness, perseverance, kindness and compassion beyond this period," he said.

President Tinubu urged all Muslim faithful to extend a hand of kindness to the needy of all faiths, to further show unity and camaraderie.

The President also tasked Muslim leaders to use the occasion to offer prayers for peace and prosperity to prevail in the country.
