Nigerian music star Peter Okoye, aka Mr P, fired back at online trolls after ditching his decades-old shared birthday with twin brother Paul Okoye (Rudeboy).
On Monday, the 44-year-old announced he’s switching to November 30, dropping the November 18 date the twins have celebrated together for years amid their bitter family feud.
Social media exploded with backlash: fans insisted no quarrel could break twin bonds, branding the change a petty stunt.
But Mr P wasn’t having it. In a fiery X post, he blasted, “If blood was thicker than water, it should’ve mattered when my brothers cheated me for over 20 years.”
He accused his family of fueling vicious rumors about him, ignoring all brotherhood ties. With court battles still raging, Mr P hinted he’s done being an open door for them.
“We were not “blood” when they were stealing from me. We were not “blood” when they were creating false narratives about me,” he wrote.
“Now that I’ve uncovered the betrayal that has been going on for over 20yrs plus, suddenly we’re blood? No… it doesn’t work like that. We are still in court! Forgiveness doesn’t mean Accessibility. Again! Una go dey alright.”
Peter Okoye has dominated headlines for years over his explosive feud with twin Paul and older brother Jude, sparked by the 2017 breakup of their mega-group Psquare.
Tensions boiled over disagreements about Jude’s dual role as brother and manager, shattering the trio.
They patched things up in November 2021 after five stormy years, even dropping a reunion concert shortly after.
But peace was short-lived. In 2024, Paul revealed the split was back on, blasting Peter for allegedly tipping off the EFCC, which led to his arrest.
Peter fired back, exposing shady dealings in their old management setup, reigniting savage public spats and dragging the family into court.
